“Fantastic colourful music!” (review “Rheinpfalz”, 05.14.2013) As part of his musical and historical research Markus Korselt published four symphonies of the german composer Baron Sigismund von Rumling (1739 - 1825). 2013 was the first-time performance under his direction with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra (patron: Prime Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer). In cooperation with the broadcasting union of Saarland the symphonies were also recorded on CD. Rumling was a highly respected and quite famous composer at his time. W. A. Mozart mentioned proudly a compliment of Rumling to him in a letter dated 2. October 1777 to his father. For biographical information about Sigismund von Rumling click here.
